Melton Setting

Our Melton setting is the newest addition to our Little Leaders Childcare group. It is based in The Phyllis Memorial maternity hospital in Woodbridge.  The environment has been adapted to feel more homely and calm to help the children learn and develop using their magical imaginations. We use Loose parts and authentic resources, to help the children progress and learn through stimulating invitations to learning. The addition of a yurt outside allows the children to have outdoor learning, Forest schools and an area for an edible garden. 

The highly skilled staff use In the Moment planning, to let the children enthusiastically engage in all the activities throughout the day. We have flexible daily routines to meet the children’s needs and the way that they learn.
